What are the currently accepted values for blood glucose readings for
an 80 year old white male who has something in the realm of
pre-diabetes or maybe now it is full blown T2 diabetes. I am 6' 3"
tall and weigh about 183 pounds in my underwear, each morning when I
first get out of bed. I am in very good health other than my diabetic
condition.
My morning fasting BG readings are usually in the realm of 110 to 130,
sometimes a bit higher.
My postprandial readings are a bit less but nearly the same.
My before bedtime readings are usually in the 100 to 120
range...sometimes a bit lower.
What should I hope for and how far off course am I, now?
